No. Georgia attorneys monitor their own progress and verify their own completion once the course has been completed.
Yes, Attorney Credits does report your completed courses to the State Bar of Georgia Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency. Our automated attendance reports run weekly on Thursday. We report through the Georgia website normally within two business days of the report running. In addition, we also maintain a record of all your completed courses and you can access your certificates of completion at anytime from our website.
The State Bar of Georgia Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency mails all Georgia attorneys an Annual Report each year. If your Georgia MCLE hours are not complete or you owe fees, you must sign and return the Annual Report to the State Bar of Georgia Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency by January 31. If your Georgia MCLE hours are complete and you do not owe fees, then you do NOT need to return the Annual Report. In either case, Georgia attorneys are responsible for verifying the information contained in the Annual Report and correcting any mistakes.

Georgia attorneys must complete a minimum of 12 hours of Continuing Legal Education annually, including at least 1 credit hour of Legal Ethics and 1 credit hour of Professionalism. As part of the 12 unit GA CLE requirement, trial attorneys must also complete 3 trial hours each annual compliance period. Attorneys in Georgia may earn 12 of 12 CLE credits with AttorneyCredits.com by completing our online and offline GA CLE courses. Online CLE courses are considered self-study credits in Georgia. Georgia attorneys must complete all Georgia CLE credit hours by December 31 and report CLE compliance by January 31. The Georgia bar CLE Commission will mail an Annual Report to all non-exempt Georgia attorneys each year. A Georgia attorney who hasn't completed the necessary CLE hours must sign and return the Annual Report to the CLE office and complete the required CLE by March 31.
