Yes, under the Indiana CLE Requirements we must monitor your course attendance and completion. For online streaming video courses you must click on randomly inserted pop ups during the video to confirm that you are viewing the course. For downloadable CLE courses we have embedded numeric codes in the courses. You must write these number codes down and then enter them on our website after you complete the course to obtain your course certificate. Please note that the date you enter the codes and get the certificate is the date that will be printed on the certificate.
Yes, Attorney Credits does report your completed courses to the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education. Attorney Credits reports your CLE credit to the Indiana CLE Commission. Our automated attendance reports are emailed to Indiana weekly on Thursday. In addition, we also maintain a record of all your completed courses and you can access your certificates of completion at anytime from our website.
By September 1 of each year, the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education will mail or email you a statement regarding your CLE compliance. This statement will show the hours that you have completed during the current year and the current compliance period. If you have completed your Indiana CLE requirement, the statement will reflect your completion and inform you that you are currently in compliance with the Indiana CLE Rules. If the statement shows that you are deficient CLE hours, you must cure the deficiency. The required documents must be filed by December 31 unless the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education has granted you an extension of time.
