Newly admitted active Virginia lawyers are exempt from the MCLE requirement for the year in which they are licensed. Your license date is the date on which the VBBE released the bar exam results.
Lawyers registering as active must also take the mandatory Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course which is required within 24 months of registering with the VSB. Attorney Credits does not offer this course.
Expanded Credits
Virginia has expanded their general credit hours to include a new category call Well-Being. This new category allows courses with topic areas such as stress, mental health, and attorney well-being to count as general credits. Note, there is no requirement for Well-Being.
We provide quality CLE courses for attorneys that are both easy and convenient to complete, backed with the best customer experience possible. Whether you plan to earn your CLE credits at work, at home, or on the go – we make sure every step is easy and stress free.
